Indian community in Japan
PM Modi’s interaction with the Indian community in Japan

Free Guest Post: Bharat Mata ki Jai, Bharat Mata ki Jai, Whenever I come to Japan, I see every time that the rain of your love keeps on increasing every time. There are many of you fellows who have been settled here for many years. The language of Japan, its dress, culture, and food have become a part of your life in a way, and one of the reasons for being a part is that the Indian community’s rites have been inclusive. But at the same time, Japan has its own tradition, its values, its commitment to the earth in its life, it is very deep. And this is the union of the two. So naturally, it is very natural to feel a sense of belonging.
comrades,
You have been here, many people have settled here. I know many have got married here too. But it is also true that even after joining here for so many years, your reverence for India when good news comes in relation to India. So your happiness doesn’t have any feet. Happens doesn’t it? And when some bad news comes, you are also the most unhappy. These are the characteristics of us people, that we get attached to the land of work with our body and mind, but we never allow distance from the roots of the motherland and this is our biggest strength.

comrades,
When Swami Vivekananda was going to Chicago for his historic address, he had come to Japan before that and Japan had left a deep impression on his mind in his mind temple. The patriotism of the people of Japan, the confidence of the people of Japan, the discipline here, the awareness of the people of Japan for cleanliness, Vivekananda ji had praised it openly. Gurudev Rabindranathi ji Tagore also used to say that Japan is a country which is both ancient and modern at the same time. And Tagore had said, “Japan has come out of the immemorial east like a lotus blossoming in easy grace, all the while keeping its firm hold upon the profound depth for which it has sprung”. That is, he wanted to say. That Japan is as firmly attached to its roots as a lotus flower. With the same grandeur, it also enhances beauty everywhere. Such pious sentiments of these great men of ours explain the depth of our relationship with Japan.

comrades,
This time when I have come to Japan. So our diplomatic relationship is going to be seventy years, seven decades. Friends, you too must have experienced while living here. Everyone in India also feels that India and Japan are natural partners. Japan has played an important role in India’s development journey. Our relation with Japan is one of intimacy, of spirituality, our relation with Japan is of cooperation, of belongingness. And so in a way, this relationship is of our power, this relationship is of respect. And this relationship is also of a common resolve for the world. Our relationship with Japan is that of Buddha, of enlightenment, of enlightenment. If we have Mahakal then it is daikokuten in Japan. We have Brahma, so we are bonten in Japan, our mother is Sarastavi, so we have benzaiten in Japan. Our Mahadevi is Lakshmi, so there is kichijoten in Japan. So we have Ganesha, so we have Kangiten in Japan. In Japan, if there is a tradition of Jainism, then we consider meditation as a medium of action with the soul.

Even in the 21st century, we are taking forward these cultural relations of India and Japan with full commitment, and I am the MP of Kashi and would like to say with great pride that the former Prime Minister of Japan, Shia Pei came to Kashi. Then he gave a wonderful gift to Kashi. Rudraksh made in collaboration with Japan in Kashi and what was once my workplace, Jain Garden in Ahmedabad, and Kaizen Academy are such things that bring us so close. All of you here while in Japan are making this historical bond stronger and stronger.

comrades,
Today’s world needs more than ever to follow the path shown by Lord Buddha. This is the path which is the way to save humanity from every challenge in the world, whether it is violence, anarchy, terrorism, climate change. India is fortunate to have the direct blessings of Lord Buddha. By assimilating his ideas, India is continuously serving humanity. No matter what kind of challenges, no matter how big, India always looks for solutions to them. The biggest crisis of hundred years that arose in front of the world due to Corona. He is in front of us and that’s when it started. Till now no one knew what would happen next. Initially it seemed like it has come there, what is here. No one knew how to handle this? And there was no vaccine and there was no idea of when the vaccine would come. Even on the issue of whether the vaccine will come or not. There was an atmosphere of uncertainty all around. Even in those circumstances, India sent medicines to the countries of the world. When the vaccine became available, India sent the Made in India vaccine to crores of its citizens and also to more than a hundred countries of the world.

comrades,
India is making unprecedented investments to further improve its health services. Lakhs of new wellness centers are being built in the country to reach health facilities even in remote areas. On the occasion of Hindu New Year and this New Year, Minister Dharamveer Prajapati gave greetings on the occasion of Hindu New Year to all his Home Guard jawans, officers and employees through a recorded call. Suddenly, when the minister’s calls started coming to the jawans, people could not believe that they were talking directly to their minister. The soldiers heard the voice of their minister and were very happy. The biggest thing was that he did not call himself a minister, but he said that I am your guardian…. For the last two years, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the Home Guard Department. , The entire department was upset due to the dictatorship of the headquarters and the debauchery of Additional Chief Secretary Anil Kumar. Ever since the death of Minister Chetan Chauhan from Corona, Anil Kumar was doing the work of God. During the IAS Anil Kumar regime, calling the officers in his own office, he had become involved in street fighting with them. Uniform money of home guards was not given and arrear money was deliberately hung. The entire budget headquarters sat suppressed. In the same district, the officers have been frozen for five years and are cutting cream. The officers had become autocratic as Chief Minister Yogi ji had the department. Yogi ji was not able to give time to the department. In the midst of these problems, when the new minister arrived in the department, people breathed a sigh of relief as if water had been seen in the desert. There is an atmosphere of great happiness. This is the department where the home guard does his work with full devotion, if he gets a guardian as a minister, then the home guard will start worshiping him more than God. Ideas should not be created, but the way new experiments are being done by Dharamveer Prajapati, one thing is clear that he has now come to do something new and will not fall under the guise of IAS officers. source link

The role of people’s representatives is very important in a democracy: President

President addresses members of Gujarat Legislative Assembly in Gandhinagar

President Shri Ram Nath Kovind has said that the role of public representatives is very important in a democracy. He was addressing the members of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly at Gandhinagar today (March 24, 2022). The President said that the members of the Legislative Assembly are representatives of their regions and of the state, But it is more important that people consider him as the creator of their destiny. People’s hopes and aspirations are attached to them. He said that fulfilling these aspirations of the people should be the topmost priority for all public representatives.

He said that he is addressing the members of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly at a time when the country is celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. The President said that what can be a better place than Gujarat to celebrate freedom and its nectar festival. The people of the Gujarat region have been a pioneer in awakening the light of independent India. In the last decade of the nineteenth century, personalities like Dadabhai Naoroji and Firoz Shah Mehta raised their voices for the rights of Indians. The people of Gujarat continued to strengthen that struggle, which resulted in the culmination of India’s independence under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi.
The President said that Mahatma Gandhi not only provided leadership to India’s freedom struggle, but he also showed a new path, new ideas, and new philosophy to the whole world. Wherever there is the violence of any kind in the world today, the importance of Bapu’s mantra “non-violence” starts to be understood.

The President said that the history of Gujarat is unique. This is the land of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel and can be called the land of Satyagraha. The mantra of Satyagraha has been established all over the world as an infallible weapon against colonialism. Bardoli Satyagraha, Salt Movement, and Dandi March not only gave a new shape to our freedom struggle but also gave new dimensions to the method of expression of resistance and mass movement.

The President said that Sardar Patel united independent India and laid the foundation stone of administration. His statue ‘Statue of Unity’ situated on the banks of Narmada is the tallest statue in the world and it is an irresistible gift of a grateful nation to his memory. His stature in the minds of Indians is even bigger than this.

The President said that apart from politics, Gujarat has also played an important role in cultural, social and economic fields. If seen spiritually, this land of Narsingh Mehta has a lot of influence. His hymn “Vaishnav Jan To Tene Kahiye Je Peer Parai Jaane Re” had become the anthem of our freedom struggle. This hymn also spread the human side of Indian culture. The President said that the generosity of the people of Gujarat is the main feature of Indian culture. People of all classes and communities have been living here since ancient times with the spirit of brotherhood.

The President also mentioned that Gujarat has made a remarkable contribution in the field of science in modern times. While Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha is called the father of the Indian nuclear program, Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, the founder of the Physical Research Laboratory, is regarded as the pioneer of Indian science, especially in India’s space research.
The President said that ever since Gujarat came into existence in 1960, it has been growing on the path of development on the basis of its enterprise and innovative thinking. He said that the White Revolution had started on the land of Gujarat itself and it has revolutionized the field of nutrition. Today India ranks first in the world in total production and consumption of milk. The milk cooperatives of Gujarat are the father of this success. He said that the Government of India has formed the Ministry of Cooperation, whose objective is to spread the success of Gujarat and the benefits of cooperative culture throughout the country.

Gujarat is the only state where the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999 was passed by the Legislative Assembly to encourage investment and development in infrastructure. The Gujarat Organic Agriculture University Act, 2017 was passed by the Legislative Assembly, which is important in terms of giving direction to the law keeping in view the future. The Sabarmati River-front is an impressive example of urban transformation. The relationship between Sabarmati and its residents has got a new dimension, while the environment has also become safe. It can also become a good example for those cities of the country, which are populated on the banks of the river.

The President said that we are celebrating the nectar festival of freedom, so it becomes our duty to remember our freedom fighters and take meaningful steps for the bright future of the country.
