Enthusiasm among those who register for Surya Namaskar in large numbers from all over the world

Free Guest Posting Website: As part of the Amrit Mahotsav celebrations of Azadi, the Ministry of AYUSH is all set for the Global Surya Namaskar program on January 14, 2022, and is expected to see the participation of more than one crore people against the target of 75 lakhs.

AYUSH Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal said that the Surya Namaskar program on Makar Sankranti is more relevant in view of the increasing cases of COVID-19 at present. He said that it is a proven fact that Surya Namaskar builds enthusiasm and immunity in life and is capable of keeping corona away.

In the virtual meeting, Minister of State for AYUSH Dr. Munjpara Mahendrabhai said that Surya Namaskar rejuvenates the mind and body. He added that “the sum effects on molecular genetics are being studied.”

Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH said that this program is a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. He said that “For enthusiasm, there is Surya Namaskar, for life force, there is Surya Namaskar.”

All the major yoga institutes of India and abroad, the Indian Yoga Federation, National Yoga Sports Federation, Yoga Certification Board, Fit India, and many government and non-government organizations are participating in this worldwide program. Read in Hindi
