Our dear readers, a big news is coming from America in which Alphabet’s Google urged the US government to avoid breaking up the firm, this news has been received from the source.
It is being told that Alphabet’s Google met President Donald Trump’s government last week and urged them to back off from the attempt to break up its search engine (Google Company).
It is being told that the US (United States of America) Justice Department is currently pursuing two anti-monopoly cases against Google – the first case related to search and the second case related to advertising technology.
Let us tell you what Google’s consultant (spokesperson) has said, you can read it yourself in inverted quotes below –
“We regularly meet with regulators, including the DOJ, to discuss this matter. As we have said publicly, we are concerned that the current proposals would harm the US economy and national security,”
The DOJ did not immediately respond to Reuters’ requests for comment.

As is being told, the department has put forward possible remedies in the search case, which include Google taking over parts of its business like the Chrome web browser and ending agreements that make it the default search engine on devices like Apple’s iPhone.
Look, the result of any case is not given immediately. Until the entire matter is properly investigated, until the department does not get solid evidence of the allegations made. Something similar is the case with this case as well. A hearing on what measures are appropriate is scheduled for April, and a final decision is expected in August.
One thing to understand here is that Google is worried because the current government has raised the possibility or Google feels that “President Trump may roll back some antitrust policies adopted under the administration of former President Joe Biden, including efforts to end Google’s dominance in online search.”
